We Can’t Wait to See You!
In planning for our return to the stage in November, the health and safety of our patrons, artists, and staff is a top priority.
To this end, as well as measures we will be implementing, we will also be following the protocols that the Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation (MCCC) will have in place for the Centennial Concert Hall upon its re-opening Tuesday, September 7.
Protocols:
- Seating in the Auditorium
- There will be two seat-spacing between patron cohorts on the main floor and balconies.
- This means that subscribers will not be seated in their usual seats for the November performances.
- Proof of Vaccination
- Patrons will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (two doses of a Health Canada-approved vaccine plus two weeks), as well as photo identification. (Children who do not meet the current vaccination minimum age requirements may attend performances provided they are accompanied by a fully vaccinated caregiver.)
- Mandatory Masks Indoors
- Patrons, staff, artists, or anyone affiliated with a performance or performer will be required to wear a mask while inside Centennial Concert Hall with the following exceptions:
- A health condition that prevents the use of a mask.
- While consuming food or beverages.
- While on stage performing.
- Patrons, staff, artists, or anyone affiliated with a performance or performer will be required to wear a mask while inside Centennial Concert Hall with the following exceptions:
- Staggered Arrivals/Departures
- Patrons will be arriving and departing at staggered intervals.
- Vaccination Status of MO and MCCH Staff
- MO and MCCH staff working at an event will be fully vaccinated.
- Enhanced Sanitizing
- Enhanced sanitization procedures will occur inside the Centennial Concert Hall and common areas of the Centennial Centre.
- Contactless Washroom Facilities
- Washrooms have been upgraded with contactless faucets, toilets, and urinals.
- Cashless Sales
- Only debit and credit cards will be accepted at point-of-sale locations.
We recognize that getting used to the “new normal” will take a bit of adjusting for all of us, and we appreciate your adherence and understanding as we navigate through this process.
Please Note: As restrictions change, Manitoba Opera will change or modify information and operations to reflect Manitoba Public Health orders or other evolving circumstances.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Box Office at 204-944-8824.
